Chalet del Sole offers a unique blend of charm and functionality, ideal for travelers seeking a genuine alpine experience without succumbing to opulence. During my recent stay, the warm hospitality of the staff stood out, making us feel welcomed as if visiting family. The cozy room, while not spacious, provided comfort and had a balcony that presented stunning views of the mountains. The on-site restaurant showcased a range of dishes, particularly the meat options, though the evening meal fell short of expectations with a dry and overly salted STINCO. Breakfast timing was also an inconvenience, as the full spread was available only after our planned departure. The terrace was a serene place to unwind, especially after a long journey, offering delightful sunlight and fresh air-perfect for dog owners too. While the cost of dining can be on the higher side, the overall experience still offers considerable value for those prioritizing atmosphere over extravagance. Chalet del Sole is worth considering for those who appreciate authenticity within a scenic setting, particularly during ski season.
